The land that we have already purchased has an area of 530m2. Building is now almost completed – there are always hold ups during the monsoon season. The downstairs area of the house is 180m2 while upstairs is 120m2. Thus a total area of 300m2.
The total cost to build has ended up being US$45,000. It went over budget, now theres a surprise!
We can house 25-30 girls. The upstairs area is one big room where all the girls can sleep. In the future, should we so desire, we can extend over the lower floor bathroom and kitchen so that we can take in even more girls.
